Hi, I was wondering.... each player has a Potential Ability (PA) and a Current Ability (CA). When stats are raised PA is fulfilled and CA rises. This leads to my question. Lets say you have a CB and you place him on a training schedule where the shooting slider has been pushed to the far left and so he is not training on shooting at all. Over time this will surely lead to stat decreases in shooting, long shots etc. Does this lower his CA and create room to boost other more important stats relative to his position such as tackling or strength? I have made several training schedules where the training areas less needed by players relative to their position have been eliminated. Is this effective. Any clarity on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

I should imagine it would have minor affects on ca & pa, but in my oppinion more importantly you are imprving in the areas relative to theire position, theres not much point having a defender with high shooting training as the attribute isn't going to be that great in the first place, i always use custom training schedules with defenders (particularly cb) with little or next to nothing in the attacking and shooting sliders, it never seems to do any harm for me.
